We are against it. We believe that the Earth is not as fragile as people seem to think.
The entire planet is debating over this issue. "What should we do about the Earth's temperature?" Some say that the Earth is heating up. There are others who argue that it is about to enter an ice age. In any case, nature is resilient. Humans, in the long run, will not likely have very much affect on our planet. Pollution is a problem that is generally accepted. It is helpful for one to recycle, and to be mindful of how one treats his or her surroundings. However, cars and factories and other thing that cause pollution still do not affect the entire globe.
One argument that people make about Climate Change is that the oceans are rising because the ice caps are melting. In southern England the sea level is rising. However, the northern end of the island is seeing the sea level drop. The entire island is tipping. There are charts and graphs that supposedly show that the temperature has raised, but they are unreliable. Currently, we are not seeing as warm temperatures as we did during the Dust Bowl. The average temperature in the Midwest during the 1930's was about 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and it is now about 90 degrees. While it is true that we as a nation should be more careful about better energy sources - nuclear energy for example - we do not have to concern ourselves with the health of our planet as much as we have been.
